We at the lupus hub truly believe that the only things more important than a person, finding their purpose and leaving a legacy, is God!
Those courageous men and women who made that journey to the ‘New World’ between 1948 and 1971 endured the hardships they found, yet triumphed to leave a legacy of strength, endurance & purpose to the generations to come.🖤🦋
Many of us, including we Lupus Warriors, can, and have, taken gems from the Elders of that Windrush Generation to triumph over our own health-based issues and turn our pain into purpose.
As such it is only fair that we invited people to come and celebrate with us. Raffle prizes, live entertainment, cultural market stalls & food were all available!!
